Dear Blue Sky by Mary Sullivan is a compelling historical fiction book that portrays war from several points of view.  Cassie is devasted when her older brother announces that he want to enlist and fight in the Iraq War.  Cassie has her own perspective of the war and so does her brother as he emails his family during his active duty in Iraq.  Cassie's perspectives shift as she begins blogging with an Iraqi girl whose life has been turned upside down. She endures bombings on a daily basis and her world becomes a war zone and she shares it all on her Blue Sky Blog!  Good read!
