The Daughters by Joanna Philbin

Lizzie Summers has the main storyline in this book but she does have two sidekick friends who have a little drama going on in their lives as well. Lizzie is the daughter of a supermodel and is tired of being dragged around living in her mom's shadow! When an old, childhood friend moves back to town, Lizzie's outlook on her life changes, but not necessarily for the better! Can she come into her own and find balance in her life? The ending leaves the reader hanging, so be ready to pick up the sequel! This was a good, girl drama and shows a different perspective of being a child of a high profile celebrity!

The Summer I Turned Pretty series by Jenny Han

This is the first book in The Summer I Turned Pretty trilogy.  OH MY GOODNESS!  This is my most favorite chick series, ever!  You will be swept up in Belly's love drama that takes place at Cousins Beach.  Throughout the series Belly flip flops between Conrad and Jeremiah.  You will definately be choosing a side for Belly.  But will she give her heart to the boy of YOUR choice?

Game Changers #2: Play Makers by Mike Lupica

If you are familiar with Ben and what happened in the first book, Game Changers, he had a great football season!  Now that it is basketball season, Ben has to step up his game because there is a new kid in town named Chase Braggs. And "BRAG" is what Chase does on and off the court!  Ben feels the pressure and is worried he will lose his good friend, Lily.

Dear Blue Sky by Mary Sullivan is a compelling historical fiction book that portrays war from several points of view.  Cassie is devasted when her older brother announces that he want to enlist and fight in the Iraq War.  Cassie has her own perspective of the war and so does her brother as he emails his family during his active duty in Iraq.  Cassie's perspectives shift as she begins blogging with an Iraqi girl whose life has been turned upside down. She endures bombings on a daily basis and her world becomes a war zone and she shares it all on her Blue Sky Blog!  Good read!

Eve & Adam by Michael Grant

If you are a fan of the Gone series by Michael Grant, you will love his latest book!  How many girls dream of the perfect boy? Just about EVERY GIRL I know! Eve gets the opportunity to create the perfect boy at her mom's research facility using the lateset computer software program.  Eve thinks it is just a simulated experiment but secrets come out, experiments change, and the plot thickens with each page turn!  Definately a suspenceful sci-fi thriller!
