Insurgent, the sequel to Divergent, and the second book in a dystopian trilogy continues with the story of Beatrice Prior. In this second novel by Veronica Roth, Beatrice is faced with many hard decisions as her world breaks out in war. She begins to question everything and everyone around her. Learn more about the heated romance between Tobias and Beatrice and read to find out if their love can withstand the chaos around them.
Dystopian Books
If you are a fan of The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins then Divergent by Veronica Roth will "suit your fancy". This story takes place in a Dystopian society in Chicago, IL. Sixteen years old is the key age in this novel because once you turn 16, you must make a decision on which faction (society group) you will join and commit to for the rest of your life. This decision does not come easy for Beatrice Prior and her test results are anything but normal.
